I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, but Georgetown is where I consider home to be. In what I deem one of the most valuable and demanding professions, I chose to begin my teaching career in GISD. This is my 14th year in education, and I cannot imagine myself doing anything different. I have a heart for mentoring children in and out of the classroom and have enjoyed mentoring teachers the last 3 years as they navigated their first years in the classroom. This is where I find joy. I believe that mentoring relationships are a shared opportunity for learning and growth. I am married to a wonderful man, who I grew up with, and he has served 20 years in the United States Air Force. Together, we raise our 6 year old son, and our very spoiled dog, Bailey, in this beautiful community of Georgetown. I feel blessed to be a part of Wolf Ranch Elementary as the Learning Design Coach where I am able to continue to lead, grow, and serve alongside the teachers who change the lives of our future.
