My Education & Teaching Background
I earned my degree from the University of Texas at Austin. I have been teaching for 35 years.
I have been married for 33 years. My wonderful husband, Steve, and I have two wonderful children. My son, Cale graduated from Texas State in August of 2021. He is now working at Barton Creek Country Club as an Assistant Golf Pro. My daughter graduated EARLY from TEXAS STATE University in San Marcos with a degree in Psychology, and she has also completed her Masters in Human Resources from UT Tyler. She married the love of her life in January of 2021!!

My Education & Teaching Background
I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade at Wolf Ranch Elementary School. I attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. My first year teaching, I taught High School for ten years in Killeen, Texas. From there, I spent two years in Middle School teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade, before coming to Georgetown. This is my seventh year at Pickett and I am thrilled to be here!
My wife and I both work for Georgetown I.S.D. and have lived in Georgetown for 28 years. My daughter currently attends schools in the Georgetown High School and my son is starting college at Sam Houston State University.
When I am not teaching I enjoy watching movies, running, family and I am a science fiction and video game junkie.

My name is Cassidy Williams. I graduated from Texas A&M University. Gig 'em! In December of 2021, I received my Master's of Education from Texas State University. This will be my fourth year teaching in Georgetown, but my fifth year as an educator.
I am so excited to learn and grow with you this year.
Hello, my name is Cassie Davis and this is my third year teaching 5th grade. I have been married to my husband, Garrett, for 12 years and together we have two daughters, Marilyn (8) and Levi (5). I also have the pleasure of raising two bonus daughters, Brooke (18) and Danielle (17). Together we love to play board games, spend time at the lake boating and fishing, and travel as much as our schedule will allow us. I grew up in Georgetown and attended Georgetown ISD schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. I love Georgetown and it is such an honor to have the opportunity to serve the community I love.
I have always loved children and, prior to completing my degree, I worked as a paraprofessional at Pickett Elementary. In 2015, I decided to stay home and raise my children and work towards a teaching degree. In 2020, I graduated from Austin Community College with an Associate's in the Art of Teaching, and in 2021 I graduated from Texas Tech with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am very excited about starting the new school year and getting to know your children.

Hi, I'm Carolyn Stott and I teach 5th grade math and science at Wolf Ranch Elementary School. I've taught in Georgetown for 14 years, both in 5th grade and as a math interventionist.
I've lived in Georgetown for 15 years and have three wonderful daughters all living in the Georgetown and Austin area. I am originally from Scotland and all of my extended family still live there. This summer I spent one month in Scotland visiting family and friends. It was nice to be back in my home country and enjoy the cooler weather!! I enjoy hiking, reading, and have recently become interested in gardening. I have two Havanese dogs, and one is 15 years old, and the other is 4.
Math is my favorite subject, and teaching science is always interesting and exciting. I look forward to this school year, and hope we all have some fun along the way.
Hi! Welcome to 5th Grade at Wolf Ranch Elementary. My name is Sandy Skains, and I teach language arts and social studies. I have a bachelor's degree, a doctorate, a TEFL certification, and I'm working on my alternate certification. Do you think I like learning?
I recently relocated here (again) from Colorado with my one and only son, Ian, and our 12 year old Border Collie-Lab mix rescue dog, Penny. My hobbies are gardening and hiking. I just love being outside! When the weather is nice, you'll probably see my class in the outdoor learning area. As you can see from my pictures, in one of my recent outdoor adventures, I ran across a 500-year-old tree. It was delightful!
My passion in life is to grow things and people. My prayer is that my students will grow to love learning and will lead, grow, and serve well in their spheres of influence in life.
